About
I was lucky enough to grow up an hour and a half north of Victoria in a small community called Ladysmith BC. As a young boy I spent a majority of my time outdoors and participating in organized sports. I was fortunate to try my hand at soccer, ice hockey, baseball, volleyball, basketball, track and field and most importantly rugby. As far as non team sports go I participated in mountain biking, snowboarding and weightlifting. When it came to time away from sports I enjoyed to spend my time in the outdoors, participating in hobbies such as camping, fishing, hiking and hunting.

As I moved through High school the amount of activities dropped as I pursued the sport of rugby. I earned selections in school, club, regional and provincial levels. I was accepted to the University of Victoria to further my education and pursue my rugby goals. I enjoyed a full varsity career with the Vike's rugby team. Twice in 2009 and 2010 was selected to represent Team Canada at the international U-20 level. I will be completing a BA in Health Education and Recreation in 2015.
